Files.fm Implements a Modern Cybersecurity Monitoring System

Posted on September 29, 2025October 24, 2025

In today’s digital era, where data security has become one of the key factors for business survival, Files.fm SIA is taking a significant step forward by introducing a modern centralized SIEM and XDR security monitoring solution.

The project is co-funded by the European Union under the program “Cybersecurity Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, strengthening the company’s ability to protect its data and digital services against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

The modern IT environment is extremely dynamic — new types of attacks targeting corporate infrastructure, data, and customers emerge every day. To protect its systems and user data, Files.fm launched a project to implement the Wazuh SIEM/XDR platform — a modern, open-source solution that provides real-time monitoring, alerts, and incident analysis.

The new system enables the company to:

  • Automatically collect and analyze security events from servers, workstations, and network devices;
  • Detect suspicious activities and potential attacks in time;
  • Respond to security incidents faster and more accurately; and
  • Ensure compliance with international security standards and best practices.

The technical solution is based on a centralized data collection and analysis architecture.
The Wazuh platform integrates with various elements of the Files.fm infrastructure — servers, applications, network firewalls, and cloud services — aggregating logs and security events into a unified system.

Each event is analyzed using behavioral models that allow the system to recognize anomalies and potential threats. This approach not only enables early incident detection but also automates risk mitigation through advanced rules and response actions — significantly reducing the time between threat detection and resolution.

An important part of the project also involves employee training, as the human factor is often the weakest link in the security chain. The Files.fm team is gaining knowledge about cybersecurity risks, data protection, and crisis response, thus building a strong security culture in everyday operations.
The project started on March 15, 2025, and will conclude on October 15, 2025.

“This initiative helps us not only enhance our security level but also strengthen internal processes and accountability for data protection,” says the Files.fm management team. “Security is no longer just a technical matter — it’s a core value of trust and reputation.”

Through this project, Files.fm reinforces its position as a reliable and secure provider of data storage and file-sharing solutions, operating in line with the European Union’s digital transformation goals and cybersecurity standards.

The project is implemented with the support of the European Union under the “Cybersecurity Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” program.
